Department Profile

The Department of Banking and Business Economics came into existence in 1985 as a result of the restructuring of the erstwhile Faculty of Commerce.

Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to imparting knowledge in the fields of Banking, Finance, and Business Economics, and has actively engaged in research activities.

Currently, the department offers a range of academic programs including M.Com, MIB, MBI, three diploma courses, and a PhD program.

It has earned a well-deserved reputation for its excellence in both academic and research endeavors.
